Head of Technology Development & Licensing – University of Cambridge Enterprise

Cambridge Enterprise is the commercialisation arm of the University of Cambridge and is central to Europe’s most successful research and technology cluster. Their mission is to help University of Cambridge innovators, experts and entrepreneurs make their ideas and concepts more commercially successful for the benefit of society, the UK economy and the University. The work they do has helped find new treatments for cancer patients, created alternatives for plastics, and improved electric vehicle charging. Now, they need your passion and skills to help them do even more.

The Technology Development & Licensing (TD&L) team plays a critical role in delivering this mission. The TD&L team works closely with academics and researchers at the University and acts as trusted advisors to support and facilitate the commercialisation of innovative research. Through building and maintaining relationships with industry partners and the venture capital community the TD&L team focuses on promoting the University’s IP portfolio, in turn helping to create new jobs and industries, and to bring innovative technologies to the market.

  • Salary Range: Available on request, including outstanding benefits, 30 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, flexible working environment with the opportunity to work from abroad for up to 30 days per year for most roles
